Presenta millor resistència química que el cautxú SBR, i suporta temperatures entre -30 °C i 100 °C, tot i que materials com el FKM (Viton) poden superar-ne la tolerància tèrmica i química, especialment davant solvents aromàtics.
Hi ha limitacions notables en fer servir aquestes juntes amb substàncies com acetona, àcids forts o fluids a temperatures superiors a 100°C?
Sí, el NBR no és compatible amb dissolvents cetònics (com l’acetona), àcids forts (sulfúric, nítric concentrats) ni aplicacions per sobre de 100°C. Exposar les juntes a aquestes condicions pot causar inflor, degradació o pèrdua d’estanqueïtat. Per a aquests casos, es recomana fer servir FKM o EPDM, segons la substància i el rang tèrmic requerit.
Hi ha algun manteniment recomanat per optimitzar la vida útil de les juntes tòriques del set?
Es recomana emmagatzemar les juntes a la seva caixa original, lluny de la llum UV, l’ozó i la calor excessiva (idealment <25°C). Abans de la instal·lació, verifiqueu que la superfície a segellar estigui neta i lliure de vores tallants. La vida útil pot superar els 5 anys en condicions ideals d’emmagatzematge i ús no agressiu.
